Welcome to Menopolooza

A loud, proud, hot-flash-having, joyfully rebellious two-day event celebrating the wild, weird, and powerful ride of menopause and perimenopause.

This isn’t your mother’s silent suffering. This is radical education, unfiltered storytelling, expert wisdom, and community like you’ve never felt before — all wrapped in laughter, flowers, and more than a few F-bombs.

Expect real talk. Science that makes sense. Workshops that actually help. Hormonal highs, emotional truths, and zero shame. Whether you're melting down, waking up at 3am for no reason, rage-sobbing, or finally feeling free — this is your place.

We’ve got clinicians, healers, experts, and straight-up goddesses sharing the mic. There will be, delicious food, facts, empowerment, and moments of beauty (and maybe rage) you’ll never forget. Come solo or bring your crew — everyone’s welcome in this circle.

Because menopause isn’t the end of anything.

It’s the beginning of something wildly powerful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does it cost so much?

We hear you. $275 is an investment. That price includes two full days of curated programming, inspiring speakers, honest conversations, expert panels, and community connection. It also covers:

A gorgeous catered lunch was provided both days by the Union Club (see food information below).

-Unlimited coffee, tea, and water are available throughout.

-A carefully curated swag bag full of treats and surprises.

-Professional audio/visual tech to make it all seamless.

-Speaker fees and venue rental.

We’re committed to fair compensation for our contributors and creating an experience that feels thoughtful, nourishing, and worth your time.

What are the food options?

We’ve partnered with the Union Club of British Columbia to offer a beautiful buffet-style lunch each day. Options are designed to be plant-forward, inclusive, and delicious.

There are also gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options available. Sample menus will be posted before the event.

Will there be coffee?

Absolutely. Coffee, tea (black, herbal, and fruit), and water are available throughout both days, included in your ticket.

Is this the first time you’re hosting this event?

Yes, this is the inaugural Menopolooza, but we’re pros at hosting talks and women’s wellness events. We expect about 120–150 attendees. Enough to provide great energy, but not so large that it’s overwhelming.

We are creating a spacious, supportive vibe, not a packed-to-the-rafters conference hall. There will be plenty of room to breathe. There are also beautiful windows overlooking the inner harbour- we didn’t want a cramped, stuffy room!

Will a full agenda be posted soon?

Yes! A full schedule with talk titles, speaker bios, and session times will be posted in June. If you're on the fence, we understand—seeing the layout and content can help you feel more confident.

Why do you mention Gen X—is this just for people 45+?

Great question. While we center the Gen X experience (because many of us organizing it are Gen X), Menopolooza is for anyone navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, regardless of generation.

We expect a mix of attendees, mostly between 40 and 60, and we aim to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, regardless of age. If you’re in your 30s and feeling the shift, this is absolutely for you too.

Is there a hotel deal?

We're currently reaching out to hotels in downtown Victoria to secure discounted room blocks for out-of-town guests. We’ll post confirmed accommodation information on the website and email all ticket holders by mid-June. Since it’s a small event, we’re waiting to see how many people are interested in attending from out of town.
