Menopolooza 2: Coming in Hot! πŸ”₯ 〰️

They told us midlife was something to dread. Something to manage quietly, with discretion.

We disagree.

Menopolooza 2 is coming to the Victoria Conference Centre - May 15–17, 2026 - and we're bringing three days of world-class science, belly laughs, Fairmont catering, and the kind of conversations you didn't know you were starving for.

Pack your stretchy pants and your sense of humour. This is the girls' weekend that's also going to change how you think about your body, your health, and what's possible in the second half of your life.

"Menopolooza… It was kind of like two days of stand-up that also answered all the questions I've ever had about female hormones."

β€” Menopolooza 2025 Attendee

THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE CONFERENCE

Menopolooza is 2.5 days of leading experts, genuine connection, luxury dining, and the kind of radical honesty that changes things β€” all in one room, with women who completely get it.

This year's through-line: The Reckoning. The Rumble. The Revolution.

We're naming the issues, having the real conversations, and leaving with a plan - for ourselves, and for systemic change. Expect science and sass on Day 1. Expect to feel completely unfuckwithable by Day 2.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

THE EXPERTS

You'll hear from leading voices in menopause medicine, mental health, nutrition, hormones, and women's wellness practitioners who are actively changing how menopause care is delivered in Canada. They're bringing their best to this room.

What are you actually saying yes to?

2.5 days of science, sass and sisterhood! It’s part conference, part party. Expect excellent lunches, and laughing till your face hurts. All ages and genders welcome, but you’re getting a GEN-X GIRLS WEEKEND! Because it’s my party and I’ll do what I want.

Menopolooza is a two-day women's midlife health conference in Victoria, BC, May 16 & 17, with an Opening Reception on the evening of May 15. Here's who's in the room with you:

Dr. Tracy Wayne Rodgers, OBGYN: opening the weekend with the keynote Menopause Medicine: What You Were Never Told. The clinical landscape, HRT, and the system that has failed us - finally spoken out loud.

Dr. Taylor Thurston, ND, MSCP: Hormones, integrative care, and what the evidence actually says from a naturopath certified in menopause care.

Erin Roman, RD: Evidence-based nutrition for perimenopause and beyond.Fuelling the Fire: Nourishment for Bodies That Refuse to Shrink

Susannah Stewart, PT: Pelvic Health & the Patriarchy - pelvic health and trauma-informed care. The body we actually live in, not the one we're told we should have.

Tara Findlay, BCRMT & Certified Menopause Coach- A Gen-X RMT with 25 years of clinical experience who's here to tell you exactly what's happening to your brain on perimenopause.

Jenn Farrell: Furious and Jacked! Strength training and movement for midlife. Evidence, joy, and getting genuinely strong.

Dawn Nickel, PhD, She Recovers: A powerful, reframing session on why midlife women are at the highest risk window for substance use - and why that's not a failure, but a signal that the load has become unsustainable and that healing is possible.

Audrey Panter, MSW: Intimacy and sexual wellbeing. A breakout session that goes where most conferences won't.

Sarah Jane Smith: The grief we carry. Loss, identity, and re-authoring your story at midlife.

Sarah Crawford-Bohl: Healthcare executive, TED speaker, and psychological safety expert who will show you how to find your voice and have the courageous conversations that actually change things.

Miss Rosie Bits: TEDxVictoria speaker, multi-award winning performer, certified sexologist, and Tantrica whose trauma-informed work lives at the intersection of creativity, sexuality, and spirituality.

MENOPOLOOZA RULES

A.K.A. What's OK and What's Not OK β€” because every good Ladies and Theydies gang needs a code of conduct.

βœ… What's OK:

Talking about your symptoms. Loudly, proudly, and without shame.

Hot flashes β€” we have fans, snacks, and empathy.

Laughing so hard you pee a little. It's a safe space.

Crying unexpectedly. It's just your hormones doing a TED Talk.

Take breaks when you need them. Rest is revolutionary.

Swearing. Within reason. (OK, fine β€” beyond reason.)

Showing up however you are. Dressed up, dressed down, messy bun, full glam β€” all versions welcome.

Making new friends. Especially the kind who will text you "you're not crazy, it's perimenopause."

Dancing. Even if it's just a shoulder shimmy while holding your coffee.

❌ What's Not OK:

Telling anyone (including yourself) to "calm down." We've been calm since 1978. It's not working.

Unsolicited advice about bio-identicals, diets, or detoxes. Everyone's journey is different.

Judging other people's choices β€” whether it's HRT, Botox, kale, or Kraft Dinner.

Being mean to yourself. Seriously. Not on our watch.

Thinking you're too young, too old, too tired, or too late. You're not.

πŸ’– The Golden Rule:

DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE.

To yourself or anyone else. 😘
