Mini-Polooza!
Welcome to our Mini-Poloozas- small, accessible, topic-specific educational events that run throughout the year. These events are designed to meet women where they are, offering bite-sized expert teaching on things like pelvic health, mental health, sleep, sex, hormones, and navigating care. They’re low-barrier, affordable, community-focused, and always trauma-informed. The idea is to bring reliable women’s health education directly into the community, so women don’t have to wait for a big conference to get the information and support they need. Mini-Poloozas have been wildly popular, and they’re helping build momentum and awareness leading into Menopolooza 2.
💋 Below the Belt, Above the Shame: Pelvic Health Edition
A Menopolooza Mini-Event
Thursday, January 3, 2026
Odd Fellows Hall, Victoria BC, 1315 Douglas Street, Victoria BC
1-5pm
At Menopolooza 1, women consistently named vulvar pain and skin changes as confusing, isolating, and shame-laden.
Even when they had the language - lichen sclerosus, atrophy, vulvodynia -they weren’t always sure how to say it out loud.
For example, Lichen sclerosus is a skin condition that often affects the genital area, including the vulva , clitoris and anus. It is considered autoimmune and requires long-term management. It can affect every area of your life from work to sexual function. It can also dovetail with the genitourinary syndrome of menopause, which is caused by decreased estrogen, and testosterone in the tissues.
Helping your skin feel better is key, alongside treating any pelvic floor muscle tension that may also be present.
Pain with sex is a common problem for people with lichen sclerosus, and it is totally treatable
Join us for Below the Belt, Above the Shame: Pelvic Health Edition, a warm, funny, and eye-opening night of real talk about what’s happening down there, and what you can actually do about it.
